All of us have comrades we remember - we also have comrades we won't leave behind. Regardless of what conflict was ours we are all comrades in arms!
Bingo has been held for over 30 yrs at Mainland Bingo, 701 Black Horse Pike, Pleasantville from 5:00 pm - 9:30 pm on Saturday evening to help fund our college scholarship program.
The Buddy Poppy Program has helped the VFW live up to its motto, "to honor the dead by helping the living." The Buddy Poppy - small red flower is symbolic of the blood shed in World War I. Distribution benefits veteran relief and provides jobs to the disabled.
Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.
Next regular meeting is April 25, 2018 and will include our officer elections. Come out and get active!

On the battlefield, the military pledges to leave no soldier behind. As a Nation, let it be our pledge that when they return home, we leave no veteran behind.
